A Blessing to be Wrapped in Power

May you be

“Clothed with power

From on high.” (Luke 24:49)

Clothed…

Adorned…

Enveloped…

With His presence.

His power doesn’t

Make you who you are—

Who you are

Makes you fitting for His power.

The white dress doesn’t

Make the woman a bride,

It just matches who she is.

The blue uniform and badge don’t

Make a person a police officer—

They just signify the office.

You are a child of God,

Heir of the Most High,

Fully redeemed,

Utterly holy,

Without blemish by the blood,

Therefore—

It is fitting for you

To wear His power.

Live today wrapped in His strength,

Holy one of God,

Be  “clothed with power from on high.”
