Feeling sapped?
Worn down, worn out?

Get ready for some good news,
God isn’t bleary-eyed.
He isn’t overtaxed.
He’s never zonked or zapped.

The Lord is the everlasting God,
The Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary. (Is. 40:28)

Think of it, child of God,
The fuel that created the cosmos
Lives in you.
You have Life,
Christ Himself,
Abiding in you.

I bless your spirit today to sense
The pulsating energy
Of an endlessly energized Creator
Within you.

No need to give up now.
Because God’s love and life
Will never give out.
