The Untroubled Heart

In this troublesome world
There is one thing
That need not be troubled –
Your heart.

I bless you to receive
The deep, assuring, empowering
Invitation of Jesus:

“Don’t let your heart be troubled
Or afraid.” (John 14:27, NCV)

By His grace,
May your heart be unstirred
By life’s turbulence
Because, deep within,
The calm of Christ reigns.
