All Hallow’s Eve Blessing

It’s not Halloween—

It’s “All Hallows Eve”.

It’s the eve,

The day before,

All Saints Day.

We pray,
“Hallowed be your name”

Because we remember God is holy—

But that’s not all that is “hallowed”

On All Saints Day.

You, child of God,

Are also “hallowed”—

You have been made holy (Heb 10:10).

You, child of God,

Are a “saint”, (Eph 1:1)

A “holy one”.

You have been set apart.

You have been consecrated to God.

You have been called according to His purposes.

You’re one of the saints in “All Saints Day”—
