May you have eyes of faith—
Of Jesus’ own faith.

The day that Peter and John went to pray
And met a lame man on the way
Was like any other day—
Except it wasn’t.

The beggar’s plea for alms
Wasn’t unusual.
The busy crowd headed to the temple
Wasn’t unusual.

The day was ordinary until …
Peter saw something extraordinary.

He saw a man on a mat being healed
While the crippled man begged.
Peter didn’t manufacture a belief—
He saw a reality.
He saw a miracle in the making.

When the apostle told the man to rise up,
Peter didn’t create a miracle,
He released a healing that God had arranged.

Any everyday moment
Can become a God moment
When you have the eyes of Jesus.
May you be given the eyes of faith.
