Jesus, Your Deliverer

TODAY’S BLESSING
Take the words of the
old Bob Dylan Grammy winner,
as a blessing:
You may be an ambassador to England or France
You may like to gamble, you might like to dance
You may be the heavyweight champion of the world
You may be a socialite with a long string of pearls.
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody,
Yes indeed
You’re gonna have to serve somebody,
It may be the devil or it may be the Lord
But you’re gonna have to serve somebody.
✦
Child of God,
Your Master has changed.
“…having been set free from sin,
[you] have become slaves of righteousness.”
[you] have become slaves of righteousness.”
Romans 6:18, ESV
✦
So I bless you today
To gladly serve the One
Who first served you.
To give yourself freely to the One
Who gave Himself freely for you.
For there is no greater freedom
than belonging completely to Jesus!
