Good news!

You are not under law,

With its nerve-wracking pressure
And its paralyzing fear
That flows from all forms of conditional blessing.

You are under grace.

A new kingdom.

A new realm.

A new power.

Child of God,

You have become the righteousness of God in Christ,

And sin is no longer your master.

May the perfect love of Christ
Cast out all fear

So that you,

Surging with faith,

Will welcome God’s strength today

And find mighty power to turn sin away!
