Love, Not Law, Defangs Sin

I bless you that the love of God

That “covers a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8)

Will fill you with ever increasing

Victory over every temptation.

May love, not law,

Fuel your heart

And speed you toward

All that is good and godly.

May love, not law,

Purify your motivations

And guide you into

All that is right and admirable.

Love, not law,

Makes sin lose its grip.

May the love of God in you

Cover a multitude of sins.
