When you are in Christ,
Your debt of sin has been paid
And
Your account has been filled up
With the accumulated righteousness of Christ.

It means…
God not only sees your sin no more
But also…
God sees you as if you had
Lived Jesus’ meritorious life.

He not only sees no stain in your soul
But also…
He looks upon you with the same delight
That fills His heart when He gazes
Upon His sinless Son.

It means…
You need not fear that your sin has condemned you,
And also…
You need not wonder whether you have done enough good
For God to bless you.

Christ has done enough.
More than enough.
He is your righteousness.

“To the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness.”
