A Time to Grow

I bless you today to grow in

Wisdom, stature and favor

With God and people everywhere!

You’re made for growth.

You aren’t designed for stagnation

But for increase.

Young Jesus was sinless

But He grew.

Perfection personified

Increased.

If the incarnate Son of God

Could grow

How much more you?!

You are on the way!

Today’s blessing is inspired by:

Luke 2:52 (ESV) — 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.

Jesus didn’t grow in the sense of moving from imperfect to better. He wasn’t born in sin as we are. Yet, He grew. I spoke the Luke 1:52 blessing over my children every day because if the perfect One could grow, how much more can we who are in Christ? And that’s the Gospel!
