Spiritual Wealth

May you know the

Riches

Of His glorious

Inheritance

In the saints. (Eph. 1:18)

In Christ, you are rich.

Not with the toys and trinkets

That masquerade for real wealth.

You have been given

The deep treasure—

The limitless spiritual inheritance

That should have been reserved for Christ alone.

I bless you to know the riches–

To perceive the share of glory deposited in you.

May the eyes of your heart be enlightened

To behold the vast inheritance that you share

Amongst the saints.

No reason to live as a spiritual pauper

Unaware of the treasure that has been secured for you!

Have you deserved the joy and peace of Christ?

Have you earned the timeless rewards of grace?

Have you warranted the sweet presence of the Spirit?

No—all of it is unmerited.

Undeserved. Unearned. Unwarranted.

But yours.

So, live strong in the joy of such a gift today.
