Where God Isn’t

God is here now.

God was there then.

God will be wherever whenever.

He’s not confined as we are by

Time and space.

He’s not limited by the trifles

Of mortality.

He’s omnipresent, I tell you.

So I bless you to see God everywhere,

Except….

One place you won’t find Him.

The one place where no one will find Him.

The angel informed the disciples

That first Easter:

“He is not here.”

He isn’t in the tomb.

He’s no skeleton rattling in the dark.

He’s alive!

So I bless your eyes to see

Where God isn’t.

To see

Just how much Jesus

Isn’t in the grave!
