Babylonian exile wasn’t Israel’s end—

Nor is it yours.

When your soul feels the weight

Of living in between your comfortable past

And your promised future—

When you are stuck in between

The good that was

And the dream that is not yet—

I bless you with restoration hope.

Exile isn’t your end.

Babylon isn’t forever.

Child of God,

Your story doesn’t end with you stuck—

It ends with God dethroning Babylon

And putting you on higher ground.

You might not be living your ultimate destiny yet,

But your God-given destiny is alive inside of you.
