The old has passed away;
Behold, the new has come. (2 Cor. 5:17)
This spring seems more sweet,
More glorious,
More beautiful,
More NEW than ever.
Did we ever need spring more?
I think we need the tulips to tug us
Out of pandemic malaise.
We need the daffodils and daisies
And every possible reminder of new life
So we can rebound with hope.
Spring, like all seasons, is God’s design—
An ingenious plan to weave resurrection
Into the visible world.
I bless your soul to experience spring—
To feel it,
To know it.
If anyone is in Christ,
The new has come.
The old has gone,
The new is here.
