Of your good work,

But the byproducts

Of the Spirit’s presence.

Not the reward

For your striving,

But the outgrowth

Of the Spirit’s indwelling.

Love.

Joy.

Peace.

Patience.

Kindness.

Goodness.

Faithfulness.

Gentleness.

Self-Control.

It’s His fruit,

His life,

His goodness,

Sprouting all over you.
