A Clear View

I bless you

To be “full of eyes

In front and behind.” (Rev. 4:6)

Like the four living creatures

Encircling the throne of God

In John’s Patmos revelation,

May your spiritual eyes increase,

And increase,

And increase,

Until…

You are “all eyes”—

All discernment, no deception,

All light, no darkness,

All insight, no confusion.

May you have spiritual eyes

To see the Lord of Glory,

To behold Him up close.

May you have eyes in front

That see your future through

The lens of His good plans.

May you have eyes behind

That see yesteryear’s events

As evidence of His faithfulness.

I bless you to come boldly

Into the throne room of grace

And, well,

Get an eye full!
