God can transform
Your wilderness.
“The burning sand
Shall become a pool,
And the thirsty ground
Springs of water.” (Isaiah 35:7, ESV)
The scorching adversity
That burns under your feet
“Shall become a pool.”
The arid, dry, emptiness
Within your soul
Will be satisfied with
“Springs of water.”
He doesn’t need to airlift you
To another zip code;
He doesn’t require
A different context to bless you—
God can make any desert
Come to life.
Receive Isaiah’s prophecy personally:
“Your wilderness … shall be glad;
Your desert shall rejoice
And blossom like the crocus;
You shall blossom abundantly
