If God is For You

I bless you to rest and revel

In the assurance of Romans 8:

“God is for you”—

Unreservedly, unconditionally for you

Like a brilliant courtroom counselor,

Defending you, guaranteeing your victory.

And, if God is for you,

All worldly problems will wither by comparison

And all heavenly gifts will abound by His grace.

Christ died for you.

He’s advocating for you.

He’s holding on to you.

He’s conquering through you.

Because He’s for you—

Fully, forever, for you.
