Join Jeremiah
At the Potter’s house
And watch the Artist
At His wheel.
Ordinary clay—
Some moistened dirt—
Whirling about on
The Potter’s wheel.
Watch it spin,
Spin,
Spin.
With every dizzying turn,
The vessel becomes more
Lovely,
Useful,
Valuable.
Life does spin at times,
Doesn’t it?
The whirl of life,
Its challenges,
Its uncertainties,
Its disappointments,
Feels, at times,
Like chaos.
But,
Child of God,
Remember you are
Clay in His hands.
When life spins, spins, spins,
And nothing seems to make sense,
You are clay on the Potter’s wheel.
He’s shaping you, forming you.
You’re always in His hands.
