Move
FORWARD.

The challenges of
The Promised Land
Looked too daunting
To the ten fearful spies
So they falsely prophesied
Doom to those who moved
Forward.

“And they said to one another,
‘Let us choose a leader and go back
To Egypt.’” (Numbers 14:4)

Let us go backwards—
Back to the days
Of slavery
When we had no need for faith,
No Promised Land to conquer,
No battles to fight.
Back to the
Days when the tyrant fed us.

It’s not God’s direction
For you,
Child of God.
You’re moving forward.
You’re headed to a Promised Land.
This is not time to back up or back down.
You’re headed to a Promised Land.
FORWARD,
Child of God,
FORWARD.
