A Blessing to Stay Unstuck

You aren’t stuck in sin!

Ah, yes, true … we all still sin,

But …

Child of God,

You aren’t bound,
You aren’t mired,
“For sin will have no dominion over you,
since you are not under law but under grace” (Romans 6:14).

Temptation is real.
The foe is skilled in deception.
All believers sometimes stumble.

But …

You are part of the winning team—
Part of the victorious empire.

I bless you to believe, rejoice,
And resist the enemy because
In Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin.
