No Lack of Manna

The Israelites in the wilderness
Didn’t gather the same amounts of manna as one another.
Maybe some were fleet of foot
And scooped up more bread per hour than the others.
Maybe some were infirmed and slow
And picked a paltry amount of the frost-like food.

But it didn’t matter.
Anyone who gathered manna had enough.

Anyone who relies on grace has enough.

Anyone who relies on the Spirit of Jesus has enough.

You aren’t in a manna gathering contest with anyone.

I bless you today to gather what you can—
Use whatever faith you have.

And you’ll have “no lack.”
