Forget “YOLO”

Child of God,
You are going to live forever
In a new heaven and a new earth.

While the world chants “YOLO”—
You Only Live Once—
John saw the true vision on Patmos:

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth…
And I heard… ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God
Is with man…’” (Revelation 21:1,3).

The real you
Will live and reign
On the real earth
That will be mystically joined
With heaven.

Your selfsame body will be glorified,
But you will be you.
This selfsame earth will be glorified,
But the earth will be the earth.

So, let all fear be banished
As I bless you today
To know for sure,
In Christ, you live forever!
