It’s Finally Over!

“Christ is the end of the Law
For Righteousness to
Everyone who believes.” (Romans 10:4)

It means the End of
All the snares of law-based living;
The End of
All the pain of performance pressure.

The End!

The End of striving.
The End of anxiety.
The End of shame.
The End of legalism.
The End of pride.

Christ is the End
Of a system that cannot save.

Christ is the End
Of a formula destined to fail.

May you revel in what has Ended
So that you can regain energy
For all this day’s tasks that are yet unfinished.

There’s much still do,
But not for your right standing with God,
Co-heir of Christ,
The work of righteousness has ended!
