The Greatest Power

No matter what bad news
Or confusing dilemma
Or challenging circumstance
You might face today,
I bless you to join the apostle
In being unashamed
Of the Good News
“For it is the power of God
For salvation” (Rom. 1:16).

Unashamed.
It means
Utterly confident,
Totally convinced,
Overwhelmingly trusting,
In the Good News of what
God has done in Christ
For you
Rather than what you have done
For God
In the name of Christ.

There’s no power
In your efforts to prove yourself righteous—
But there is unlimited power
In Christ’s righteousness fulfilled
On your behalf.

May you live and soar
By the power of the
Eternal,
Infinite,
Glorious,
Gospel.
