A Blessing of Love All Who Suffer

The love of the Lord
Comforts,
Assures,
And heals.

I bless your soul
To experience the plea
Of the psalmist:
“Let your steadfast love
Comfort me
According to your promise
To your servant.” (Psalm 119:76)

When life hurts,
You can count on
God’s comfort.

Compassion isn’t God’s whim—
It is His whole heart.
Comfort isn’t God’s possibility—
It’s His promise.

May you fear no loss
Knowing that the comfort of God
Is sure—
Because the love of God is sure.

Take heart.
You can’t suffer more than God can comfort.
