No worries!
It isn’t a figure of speech—
It’s a promise,
A real possibility.
When Jesus said
“Do not be anxious about your life” (Matthew 6:25, ESV),
He meant it.
The Messiah doesn’t give
Impossible commands.
It’s within reach-
The worry-free life
Isn’t relegated to birds and flowers.
It’s for you, child of God.
I bless you to see the promise
Implied in the command:
“Do not be anxious,”
Don’t worry about a thing.
