A Sight That Sets You Free from Anxiety

I bless the eyes of your heart

To look with Jesus

And see the reassurances of His

Love, providence and care,

That displaces angst

And frees the soul.

Look!

Look at the birds of the air

They neither sow nor reap …

Yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. (Matt. 6:26)

Look!

Look at the lilies of the field…

They don’t work or make their clothing

Yet Solomon … was not dressed as beautifully. (Matt. 6:28,29)

Unless a bird is more valuable than you,

Unless a wildflower is more important than you,

You can be assured, child of God,

God is going to take care of you.

Just … look!
