Like the Man of Heaven

Through Adam,
The “man of dust,” (1 Cor. 15:47)
We all were born like him—
People of dust.

But you,
Child of God,
Are no longer in that first Adam—
You are in Christ,
The final Adam,
The “man of heaven.” (1 Cor. 15:47)

Here’s God’s promise
For you and every heir of Christ:
“As is the man of heaven,
So also are those who
Are of heaven.” (1 Cor. 15:48)

May you live today with
Your heaven-destined identity—
You are no mere dust;
You are like the “man of heaven.”
