No Word of God Will Fail

“Nothing will be impossible for God” (Luke 1:37).

Gabriel’s words to Mary

(When she wondered how a virgin could conceive)

Are more rightly rendered

“No word from God can ever lack power”.

The angel was saying,

God has spoken

And whatever God speaks

Always has power

To come to pass.

God has also spoken to you

In His timeless written Word.

Every promise is true.

Every word is forever.

If God speaks what seems impossible,

It is possible

Because what God speaks

Cannot fail to come to pass!
