The Lullaby of God

Child of God,

When troubles twist around you

With their tornado-like roar,

I bless your spirit

To receive the

Prophetic promise of Zephaniah:

He will quiet you with His love (Zeph. 3:17).

God is a strong Father

Who knows how to be tender,

Who knows how to sing lullabies.

Though the storms of adversity thunder,

There is a quiet voice

Undeterred by the clamor of troubles—

A quiet voice from eternity,

Singing His love to you.

I bless you to hear

The lullaby of God

And be calmed

By His affection—

Be quieted by His love.
