You are Protected

Feeling faint? God has power for you.

Got no might? God has strength for you.

We all have this in common:

We all get tired.

Even youths shall faint

And be weary,

And young men

Shall fall exhausted. (Is. 40:30)

The strongest,

The fittest,

The fastest,

Grow tired.

Jesus was tempted to give up.

Why should we ever be surprised

When we feel like throwing in the towel?

But, as you wait expectantly on the Lord,

You will renew  your strength.

You will mount up with wings

Like and eagle.

You shall run and not be weary;

You shall walk and not faint.

I bless you today to wait

On the next updraft

And to spread

Your wings

And soar.
