Follow His Voice

You don’t need to know

Where all the greenest fields flourish,

Where the freshest waters babble,

Where the wisest paths run—

You just need to know

The Shepherd

Who knows all the fields and brooks and trails.

“The sheep hear his voice,

And he calls his own sheep by name

And leads them out…

The sheep follow him,

For they know his voice.

A stranger they will not follow….

For they do not know the voice of strangers.” (John 10:3-5)

I bless you today to recognize

The Shepherd’s voice—

To hear the sound of love and truth—

And to follow His every word.

Little lamb, child of God,

You can follow your Shepherd

Every step of the way.
