Blessed to Shine

Amidst a “twisted generation,”

I bless you to “shine

As a light in the world

Holding fast to the

Word of life.” (Phil. 2:15-16)

You don’t shine because

You’re unaware of how

Twisted

The generation is—

You shine

Because you are

Inseparably linked

To the Word of Life.

You don’t shine because

You’re overlooking how

Distorted

The culture is—

You shine

Because you are

Infused with

God’s very being.

So, I bless you

To be who you are—

Light in the world.

Burn bright,

Child of God,

Burn bright.
