I bless you to
“Be filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 5:18)
Every head was bowed,
Every eye closed,
When the eager
Evangelist asked the crowd:
“Who wants to be
Filled with the Spirit?
Raise your hand,”
He said.
I raised mine.
Over three decades have passed.
I’m still raising mine.
Because…
The question isn’t:
Who wants to be filled
With the Spirit?
No …
The question is:
Who wouldn’t want to be filled
With the Spirit?
Who wouldn’t want to
Be filled with love, joy, peace?
Who wouldn’t want to
Be filled with power from on high?
Who wouldn’t want to
Enjoy more of God’s presence?
Be filled, child of God,
Be filled!
