Out of the Darkness

This Advent,

I bless you to

See—

To walk in the light

According to the messianic

Promise

Prophesied eight centuries

Before the first Christmas:

“The people

Who walked in darkness

Have seen a great light;

Those who dwelt

In a land of deep darkness,

On them has light shone” (Isaiah 9:2).

When you are in Christ

You’ve not only “seen a great light,”

But also have become one

On whom “has light shone.”

Because you saw the light

You became the light!
