Receive the angel’s good news,
Of great joy,
But, this Christmas, please insert your name.

Is born this day…
A Savior.”

Yes, He was born for the magi,
He was born for shepherds,
He was born for “all the people”…
But savor the words,
Child of God,
He was born for you.

He became human
To relate to you,
To restore you,
To represent you,
On the cross.

“Fear not,
For behold,
I bring you good news of great joy
That will be for all the people.
For unto you
Is born this day
In the city of David
A Savior,
Who is Christ the Lord.”
