What God Feels Toward You
Child of God,
When the Lord sees you,
What do you think He thinks?
What do you feel He feels?
What one word best describes
The heart of God toward you?
Breathe deep,
Dare it to believe,
Take it in …
When God looks upon you,
He feels …
… overjoyed.
Zephaniah prophesied it:
The Lord your God is in your midst…
He will rejoice over you with gladness (Zeph. 3:17).
Christ came to take the judgment,
Pay the debt,
Erase the condemnation.
All that is left in the heart of the Father
Is JOY that you are His.
I bless you to live
As one in whom the Father delights.
